Take a Stance Against Bullying

We must recognize that bullying has become an international epidemic, no longer restricted to children and teens, but also effecting people of all ages. Statistics now prove that many child and teen bully’s carry these behavior traits into adulthood, often resulting in cyberbullying, and even violent criminal tendencies.

As parents, we must learn to recognize the difference between attractive, positive, and assertive behavior, as opposed to more negative and intimidating behavior traits in our children. Bullying is Not “Just Being a Kid”: It Can Kill

Having a child that is being bullied by a peer can be heartbreaking for parents because you feel helpless. Being bullied is not part of growing up or part of the school experience. A child that is bullied by their peers begin to feel that they are not good enough, and may feel like they don’t fit in.
